Reconciliation Week takes place from Wednesday 27 May to Wednesday 3 June. This week encourages all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.

Reconciliation means inclusion, acceptance, and genuine, meaningful participation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and communities, grounded in respect.

This year’s theme ‘All in’ underscores that reconciliation is not a spectator sport and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change. Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

At the Centre, we believe that all First Nations children, young people, and families should be surrounded by family and connected to their communities, with access to culturally safe services and support when needed. It is our responsibility to listen deeply to, collaborate closely with, and support First Nations children, families, communities, and organisations to self-determine on their terms.

Show your support for reconciliation by taking part in National Reconciliation Week events and activities in your community.
