Building skills to deliver effective foster carer training
Develop skills and confidence in conducting effective Shared Lives Foster Carer training to people who are considering foster care through your agency.
This course is designed for those who haven’t previously delivered Foster Carer training. Participants will become familiar with the practical skills required to effectively deliver training to potential foster carers.
Completing this course will authorise you to train foster carer applicants, empowering you to positively impact the lives of vulnerable children and families.

The training is delivered over three days, either online or in person. To optimise the learning experience and maximise opportunities for learner participation, audience capacity is 15 participants per session.
